Idagu Emmanuel Odey is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Idagu Petroleum Limited, Idagu Farms Limited, EMJ. Technologies Services Limited, Next Revolution Nigeria Limited and The Idagu Odey Foundation. He is also the owner of Famous Babydon Dynasty and Babydon Records. His chains of businesses different sectors of the Nigeria economy has provided employment opportunities for about 100 people, predominantly youths.
The Idagu Odey Foundation, a non-governmental organisation which was established to give back to the society has touched hundreds of lives. The foundation has given scholarship to students in secondary and tertiary institutions in the country, provided entrepreneurship trainings in the areas of trade learning, skills acquisition and creative innovation; and it is currently constructing a 350 seating capacity hall at Comprehensive Secondary School Gakem, Bekwarra in Cross River State, a project that has reached roofing level and billed to be completed on or before at the first quarter of 2019.

At the moment, the record label is working on a project with Cleff T, taking his musical career to the next level.
Similarly, Idagu Emmanuel Odey’s love for entertainment is second to none and his commanding personality has attracted A-list artistes to Kaduna State to perform at one event or the other. His entertainment outfit, for instance, is the first to bring Timaya, one of the biggest dance-hall artiste in the country to Northern Nigeria, Kaduna State to be precise in 2007 where he performed at the Gamji Multi-Purpose Hall. He is also the first person to bring Terry G to Kaduna State to perform at NAF Club in 2009.
Furthermore, Babydon Records was partly involved in bringing artistes across the country to perform during the Kada Games Festival 2008 with artistes such as the famous Tu Face (Tu Baba), Timaya, K. Solo, Shayo Master, Wande Coal and a lot more who performed in the week-long festival.

Idagu Emmanuel Odey earned an M.Sc. in Information Systems Management from University of Salford, Manchester, United Kingdom and Bsc. in Business Information Systems from Middlesex University, UK, Dubai Campus; obtained an Advance Diploma in Software Engineering (ADSE) from APTECH Computer Education; earned a National Diploma in Accounting from Abuja School of Accounting and Computer Studies (ASACS) now Dorben Polytechnic Bwarri, Abuja- Nigeria; awarded Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering; and also certificate in Digital Marketing from SAE Institute, Dubai, UAE.
